Julian Phillips, a Buckhead native and graduate of Westminster and W’n'L, formed Yardera Landscaping in 1992 out of a love of plants and trees and being outdoors. Through the years he has adapted a design aesthetic based on the needs and desires of his clients, and backed by the knowledge and experience of what plants work well together in this region. He likes to give the clients lots of ideas to choose from: color and textural variety, seasonal blooming coordinations, and find out what is they really like and build upon that.×

The Institute of Classical Architecture’s 2009 Phillip Shutze was granted to her firm for Residential Interior Design. McLean’s St. Regis Traditional Master Atlanta Symphony Show House won an ASID Design Excellence Award.
McLean has been featured on Television’s Better Mornings, Good Day Atlanta, Southern Living Presents and HouseSmart. The Cathedral Antiques Show featured her as speaker twice and she hosts their Designers’ Breakfast with ADAC.
McLean studied abroad and travels for inspiration but considers herself a true American Interior Designer. Guiding clients architecturally though construction to insure the bones of the project are correct for furniture placement and flow is paramount to her design philosophy. Client and vendor relationships and communication are keys to the firm’s success. Customization of paint colors, finishes and fabrics and layering of antiques and accessories are her forte.×
Randy Korando and Dan Belman opened their award winning retail shop, Boxwoods Gardens & Gifts, in 1995. Their work has been featured in numerous publications including Traditional Home, Veranda, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Atlanta Magazine Home, Décor Magazine, Garden Design, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Decorative Home, Best of Atlanta, Victorian Home and Style Magazine among others. Mr. Korando’s degree is in ornamental horticulture and landscape design while Mr. Belman holds dual degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing.×

Shon Parker has been a designer at heart throughout his life and comes natural to him. His early exposure to color, form, and detail fostered an ability to evaluate environments and visualize solutions. Atlanta’s vibrant scene continues to inspire his designs, while his travels and studies of decorating history have also influenced his work. After college, Parker designed showroom spaces for a small, high-end couture company. From there he worked as a designer for Baker Furniture. His pottery collection, crafted under his own label, so impressed designer Barbara Barry that she requested that all her furniture displays include his items.×

Natalia Makarova was born and raised in Ukraine, both her and her husband, Oleg Makarov, studied Electrical Engineering in College. In 1996, the family moved to the U.S. with their 2 yr old son Arthur. In 2002, they opened Karpaty Cabinets. Natalia runs the sales and design portion of the business, whereas Oleg manages the production and installation. Both consider themselves very fortunate to do what they love, with the help of 20 extremely talented employees, most of whom have been with Karpaty Cabinets since the company was founded.×
Kellie Griffin Donnelly launched Kellie Griffin Interiors in November of 2011 with full force. The firm has been featured in many publications most recently featured in the yearly edition of Home Colors. Her natural talent in creating a breathtaking space is undeniable; even her August wedding to Justin Donnelly being the feature in the upcoming spring edition of Bespoke – The Saint Regis’ quarterly publication.
While being published is always a goal, Kellie’s main foucus is the satisfaction of her fabulous clients. Interior Design is Kellie’s lifelong passion which is the driving force in the quality of her work.
Tish Mills founded her firm in 1999. Tish works in a wide range of styles from contemporary to antique-tradtional. The common thread in her work is that all of the spaces have a peaceful and balanced feel to create these calm spaces.
The firm’s work throughout the US has been recognized with 12 design excellence awards from the Georgia Chapter of ASID and has been published in numerous publications including Elle Décor, Traditional Homes, Veranda Southern Accents, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and Atlanta Magazine, as well as several coffee table books on interior design. She has also been a participant in numerous designer show houses through the region.×
Courtney Giles Interiors is a full-service, high end residential design firm. Courtney works closely with her clients to create clean, classic, and comfortable settings. While carefully editing each space, she incorporates the stylistic preferences and personalities of her clients. In 2004, Loren established her boutique design studio, Anna Abrams Design, named for her maternal grandmother. Loren’s approach embraces the architecture of a space, working inward to define the interior and the people who exist within it. Loren’s designs have been featured in around Atlanta at AH&L Christmas House, DIFFA’s “Dining by Design”, Save-a-Smile’s Holiday House, and Christmas at Callanwolde. Loren holds a B.S. degree from Southern Polytechnic State University and has additional design studies from Brenau University.×
Jenny is a Chattanooga native who moved to Atlanta in 2002 to complete her internship and receive her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During her internship, Jenny found designing kitchens and baths was the best fit for her love of space planning and drafting. She has been developing her expertise in remodeling kitchens and bathrooms by working on projects throughout Atlanta for 10 years.×
Barbara Heath opened The Mercantile in November 2008 in Atlanta. Within a short time, The Mercantile has become a destination for those seeking high quality and style. With Chicago roots, and a family history in both retail and design, it is not a surprise that in 2009, The Mercantile was awarded Best of the City, and again in 2010. The trade publication “Home Accents Today” awarded The Mercantile “Retail Star of the Year”, and in 2012, Barbara won “Rising Star Retailer” – a National Award presented by the Accessories Resource Team. The pursuit of her passion is what Barbara attributes to her success – that and the love of her family.×
Jillian Pritchard Cooke, President of DES-SYN and Founder of Wellness Within Your Walls®, has been practicing interior design for over 30 years. Jillian was born in Dublin, Ireland and spent much of her youth in England. Jillian is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and Design. Jillian started her design career in Southern California. Her exposure to European and California design is evident in her work. Jillian’s favorite style of design is a mix of primitive and modern.
Katie Kitchens, Director of Design of DES-SYN, ironically Katie was also born in Dublin. Just on this side of the pond, in Dublin, Georgia. Katie has two fine arts degrees from Valdosta State University in Interior Design & Graphic Design. Katie and Jillian paired up over 6 years ago and have not looked back. Katie’s strengths lie in color, texture and pattern. Katie attributes her background in graphic design as a major force in her design sensitivity.×

James Farmer is the president and lead designer for James Farmer Designs and author of five books, including A Time to Cook – Dishes from my Southern Sideboard. He is an Editor-at-Large for Southern Living and a member of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles 2013 class of Ten under 40.
Maggie Coody Griffin is a childhood friend of James Farmer’s and associate designer with his company. She also serves her own clients through Maggie Griffin Designs. She and her husband David reside in Gainesville, Georgia.×

Cristi Rajevac is an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and Showroom Buyer & Merchandiser for Insidesign, a boutique design firm located in the heart of Atlanta. Having known since childhood that she would be engaged in design, Cristi earned a degree from Florida State University through their renowned CIDA/FIDER-accredited Interior Design Program.

Linda Castle began her career in Interior Design over 30 years ago, as a plan developer and draftsman for several prominent Atlanta builders. During the course of her work, she realized her greatest enjoyment came from helping the homeowners create beautiful interior spaces as well as guiding them in the specification of all of their home finish materials. She returned to school to earn an additional degree in Interior Design, opened her own design firm, “Decorated Designs”, and has been helping clients create their dream spaces ever since.×

A Michigan native, Rick Anthony Bonner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and was recruited by international architecture and interiors firm SmithGroup upon graduation. Rick later worked with Polo Ralph Lauren as Interior Designer/Senior Associate. The launch of his eponymous design firm coincided with the designer’s move to Atlanta, where Rick also served as Adjunct Faculty in Interior Design at Westwood College. In 2013, Rick joined the design team at Insidesign.×
